3:03 So how was how was your last couple of weeks? They've been okay, they've been okay, busy, busy, but they're good. They're good. Okay, that's good. Good to know that things are going good. You know what I'm saying. I mean, it's always always a bright spot when things are okay, right, yeah, okay. So with that being said, I'm I'm I'm doing I'm doing pretty good. I mean I'm good. Family is good, kids are good, of course, everybody's every everybody's good. I mean, you know, you gotta you gotta be have a little bit of oomph, be signed this good behind this good stuff, you know what I mean.

3:58 But you know what I have to admit today is one of those days that it's okay to not be okay. You know, it's it's definitely okay not to be okay, but it's not okay to not be okay and not want to talk about it because you know, you have people that care and people that want to help and want to, you know, do what they can do to live up the situation, you know what I mean? So she'll she'll, she'll get a kick out of it. I got a kick out of it when I read it. So, but let's talk a little bit about Mental Health Awareness Month. As we all know, mental health is a really really big deal to us here at the show. We believe that mental health shouldn't have a stigma on it, and apparently in some places it still does. Nobody understands what it

Had to be aware of what mental health is, and we got something new going on on the on the page too, So everything that now, I don't I don't have to hit anything on the screen. You can see the screen, right, DYG. You can see that the the messages are popping up on the screen now, oh at the bottom. But they're really little. Yeah they do look a little little. But as as people start commenting, it'll start lifting up more and more and more. So it'll pop up. And if if you can't see it, I'll just I'll just put it on the screen. No big deal. But I'm a big believer that what's up mike Vic oh Man, Mike Vic, Mike Vick is a trooper, I'll tell you that. But we all believe here in the show that I'm a big believer in checking on your strong friends, on your checking on your friends, that you know there that always you know, there for everyone, who's always available for everyone, you know to everyone, and that it's important to check on those

7:43 that check on you because you never know what their struggles are, you know, And it's important to show love to those people, you know what I mean, show love to and also show love to yourself, because if you don't love yourself, it's it's it's terrible. It's it's terrible. If you don't love yourself right, you know, you gotta you gotta find it within you to love you and to love others and to be able to help one another and pull one another out of there there's slumps. I'm gonna put on the bottle of the screen the number to the Mental Health Suicide and Crisis Hotline. So there it is. There's the information you need and you can text or call, go to their website and you know, get the help you need. So I want to give a shout out to the dubs. He had surgery again and he's he's recovering right now. He's not one hundred percent sure if he's gonna make it in or not, but he's gonna say, he said, I'll try, right, but we'll see, we'll see if we see him tonight whatever. So, but uh, all right, so let me hold on. I

Now the paperwork I had is gone, So now I gotta off the top of the head. Now I'm good with that. I know. Sometimes it's hard for people to express how they truly feel about what they're going through, you know. And sometimes.

10:03 Don't blame IV. Sometimes it's it's difficult to express what one person its struggle is. Yeah, and when when someone is going through a struggle and they look like they're not, but you don't know what's going on in the inside. So it's good to ask questions, you know, it's good to to to talk about what it is, you know, to show your support for one another, you know what I mean. Yeah, And I think it's important to be able to speak on those struggles, because the more you speak about what you did, you're going through, the more your friends and whoever it is that care about you can understand what you're going through and they can find ways to help you, you know. And I just think that in today's society, it's it's difficult for people because people are afraid of what they don't understand. So if they don't understand what it is that you're going through, you know, it's right away it's like, what's your problem? What the fuck is going on? Why are you going Why? Why are you putting yourself through this? You know? Why? Why is it you're you're you're going through what you're going through? Can't you just snap out of it?

11:29 Well, it's not that it's not that easy. If if it was that easy, I mean, did the world be a much better a much better place, you know what I'm saying? And yes, mental health is one real thing. And and people are people are afraid of it, you know, and and and and and it's true. They people don't want to feel vulnerable, you know. People don't want to feel like they're going to be criticized and they're gonna be talked about, and they're gonna be pointed at like, oh, you're the you're the crazy one, or you're the one that nobody you know, nobody really wants to suck around, will to deal with or whatever. You know, I completely understand nobody wants to feel like they're a burden to anyone else, you know what I'm saying.

12:21 So, yeah, something else I want to say. Ye, sometimes in that we do things, like we're all human and so we do things, and sometimes I don't think we realize how that affects not just us, but others. Right, Like like I did something today and it's something I do all the time, right, and and I told the person that I did it, and it upset them, you know, and I understand, I understand why. And the funny thing is like I'm not sorry that I did it, because I did it from my own safety, from my own security, from my peace of mind, you know. But I also felt that I needed to hear the other person and their point of view, you know, like because they were upset, and so I needed to hear them to be upset, right, And I understood and I respected that they were upset.

13:45 It didn't change that because of things that impact our mental health. It didn't change that I still needed to do it and and that you know, I did it for me and my safety, my security, but also in the long run, I also think I did it for that person. And so that's something I'm sitting with right now, and and that does impact like mental health the way I feel right now being on the show.

It's like, yeah, that's all just I'm I'm not sorry that I did what I had to do to protect my mental health to protect me, but I am sorry that what I needed to do potentially hurt somebody else, you know.

15:11 I mean, I completely understand that, you know, doing what you have to do to keep your peace and your sanity intact is important. You know what I'm saying. I understand that, and that's and that's something that everyone at some point in their life should realize that being at peace and knowing that you're in a safe space within yourself is important. Yeah, you know, and you know you shouldn't you really shouldn't feel too bad. I mean, I know you don't like when you say you don't like the fact that you hurt someone.

16:03 Yeah, but. Sometimes you know, yes, yeah, just like just like Melissa said, sometimes you have to love yourself more. Yeah, you know. I mean it's like I'm always saying, you know, things that are meant to be will always be, and things that aren't, you know, because we need to be our genuine selves, you know, and we need to do what what helps us. I guess I guess I just I don't want to say I assumed, but I guess I thought being honest about it and letting them know would open a conversation, you know, about wanting to trust and you know, just sometimes you have to be selfish. Yeah, I mean that's true too, that's true too.

17:07 Yeah. But also I don't do anything without respecting and accepting the consequences for what I do, like I'll take accountability for it. I mean, I mean, I don't. I don't want to pry, but can can you want to talk about what happened? Or you want to like, you know, I know you're going through it. But I mean, if you want to, you want to share, you can. If not, it's okay, I understand. Yeah, no, I know, because I'll be honest with you. You you really, you really don't sound yourself.

Well, and at the same time, right after I had the conversation with the person, right and you know, you guys know me, I'm a thinker. I'm always thinking. And I happened to have been driving at the time, so ye know, I was just contemplating. And wouldn't you know, as soon as I hang up the phone, I get a flat tire and it's pouring rain outside. And then as I pull over to check out the tire, something hits my windshield and cracks it.

18:44 What the fuck is going on here? I know? And I guess because you know, you guys know, I'm kind of like a loner, like I really don't I don't have friends and stuff like that. Hey, I don't like that comment. Well, oh yeah, just in the moment, in the moment where I was okay, in the moment where I was mentally emotionally, you know, like it was just like dag trish, look at me, look at me giving people's names away.

19:25 It was just like wow. And then to pull over, have a flat tire. It's pouring rain, and I mean it chose that very moment to like pour down, like open up and pour down. Uh. And then my windstreal cracks. So I get out to change the tire, and I mean, ain't nothing wrong. I've changed tires. It was just that moment. And the funny thing is so many people passed see me in the ground, like trying to change the tire whatnot, and nobody stops. But I guess, out of iron like irony, I texted the person that I had just hurt, and I took a picture of the tire, and I.

20:16 Was like, I guess, yes, I was like, I guess I got. I was like, I guess I got what I deserved, and and I thought it was kind of funny though, even though like I said, I'm not sorry I did it, and I don't think that I did anything wrong, but I could definitely see how what I did hurt them, or at least upset them. Not necessarily hurt them, but like upset them, made them angry, and I'm not sure i'll ever know which one it was, you know, but uh so I just texted them that I was like, I guess I got what I deserved.

20:59 And so I got wet, and of course, as soon as I'm done changing the tire, and of course I have work clothes on, so they're not like sweatshirt and jeans. It's dress pants and a very flimsy blouse. And no jacket. So the guy stops, he's like, you need help. I'm like, no, I'm good. I just I got I'm over, like I just finished and whatnot. And then that person texts me back and they actually offered to come help me, and they're like I was already because I got lost while I was on the phone with them, because you know, like I was talking and I wasn't paying attention, so I ended up getting lost like an hour and a half further away from my house.

21:54 So it was just like things at that very moment just started piling on and piling on, talk about mental health, like struggle, like crisis, right, And they actually texted me at that moment and asked if I needed help, and honestly, I was like, how are like, how am I going to get help? First of all, you live already an hour and a half away from me, and if I'm an hour and a half away from my house, that's like a two hour drive at least. So I'm like, you know, I just finished. I wouldn't want to do that, you know, to anybody. But then it had me wondering, like, are they just that nice of a person or you know, has a little bit of time passed and now I don't know, maybe they're not so as mad as they were.

22:53 I don't know, I don't know, but I thought it was really nice that they did that, that they offered. But you know, I had already finished and I wasn't going to make anybody drive out here in this rain, especially because I had already changed it, and you know whatnot. So like right now, I'm just I'm just feeling a little stuck, a little torn, a little you know, like, am I right? Am I wrong? Am I just human? You know? Well, first of all, you're just human? Right, yeah, You're just human? You know what I mean? I mean, you can't you can't really beat yourself up and fool yourself or doing what you feel you needed to do to protect you yourself, you know what I mean.

23:39 Yeah, And I mean the truth is we don't really know each other well. So I mean it's not like we were friends or close or anything like that. And this is like, you know, like a bad hurt, you know. Like a. Betrayal or anything, because we don't know each other that well. You know. But you guys know me, I just don't like to I don't like to hurt anybody, not on purpose anyway. Wow, you know, but our our our traumas, our baggages are and I'm and you guys know like I'm good, you know, like I've done my work to heal and and do all those things. So it's not about that. But it's about like what our experiences, uh teach us, you know, about what we want in our life and what we don't want in our our life.

24:44 And so you know, it's just a part of who we become, you know. And it's not about punishing anybody. It's not about you know, it's just about you know, again, like they said, being selfish and making sure that we're okay, because if we're not okay, nobody else is going to be okay either. Yeah, because we can't care for people if we don't care for ourselves, right, you. Know, absolutely, yeah, it's all about it's about peace of mind, yeah, you know, and being in that safe space within yourself, you know. And what some people don't understand also is that when you get yourself involved with someone, or even if you're just communicating with someone, talking someone whatever, it.

25:32 Is, friends, family, everybody. Yeah, whatever it is. But I mean, but I mean, I mean, I mostly mean as far as like dating or seeing someone, as being with someone or whatever, getting getting to know someone, you have to understand that. I think I said this before but I don't remember. But there their life experiences and and and their life doesn't start when you meet them, right right, they have an entire lifetime of experiences, hurts, traumas that come with me, especially at our age. I'm not I'm not aging myself.

26:12 I'm just saying that we all know that we're old. So but I'm just saying that it doesn't. You maybe. What you mean, TG what you. Mean, don't don't don't don't don't do that anyway. Today someone told me, I was I look like I'm in my thirties. I was like, I'll tell you. I would. I would take it too. Yeah. People tell me that all the time. I'm like, oh I wish. Yeah when I when I when I tell people sometimes old and they're like, what the fuck out of here? No, because you'd be using them filters. Bro. Right now, this is, this is what it is.

26:54 They're more like they're like, oh, you're not sixty. You will oh the same time. Nah. But like I was saying, that, their life doesn't start when they meet you. Everything, every every hurt, every trauma, everything that they've gone through is there when you meet them. It's all about how they want to pursue and go about expressing and telling you and sharing with you. You know what what it is those traumas, know those things were you know what I mean? Or are.

27:35 You can't You can't expect someone to just show up and I'm here, let's start all over, let's start. You know. It's no, it doesn't. It doesn't happen that way. Everybody has baggage at disease, you know, and sometimes it pops up, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you share, sometimes you don't. But I I don't know how to keep my mouth shut. I always got to share. Yeah, Well I'm not saying you keep your mouth shut. I'm just saying that, you know, it's important that you share because when you share, you get if you get feedback, sometimes you get you know what I'm saying.

28:16 And the funny thing is like people don't want to be lied to, absolutely, and so you try, you know, so to prove to them that you don't want to lie to them and you are transparent. Then they're like, I wish you would have just did it and not told me. Like, look, no, no, I want to know what's up. Oh damn. I mean you don't have to. But I'm just saying, I mean, you know, I don't know, you can speak on it. You don't have to speak on I'm just saying. Oh my god, no, I mean I don't mind because to me, like I said, to me, it's not a bad thing, you know.

29:02 But so all right, So so you guys know that. I'm single, and so uh in this dating world, in this dating pool, people not just women, but people need to be careful. So anybody that actually wants to meet in person all this stuff, and you know, I have a teenage daughter and you know, uh, not everybody knows what I do for a living. But you guys do. So I run a background check. On somebody, oh man.

29:42 And I run a background check on everybody who wants to. Friends us. Do you think I haven't run background checks on you guys? Did my? Did? Did me? And did my? My? Me? Being on the on the federal list? Come up? I ain't gonna all right, but yes, I want background checks on everybody in my life. And yes, yes, part of that is trauma based.

30:24 Absolutely, and and and. I don't lie about that, Like I am self aware. I I take full responsibility for my stuff, for my baggage, for my you know, insecurity, for whatever. But also against baggage or insecurity. I just think that's you protecting yourself. Yeah, because you can't trust people. They're unfortunately a lot of people out there lying. So I would rather know up front so I don't waste my time. Yes, And so there's that part of me that is like, are they upset because I found stuff out? Oh well huh?

You if you do a background check on somebody and shit pops up and you see things you know you could tell them, you know, I do this to you know, for myself. And I did. I did. But then when you want to divulge. They felt like it was a betrayal of their trust and they were like, you didn't give me a chance to tell you, right, And I was like, you know, okay, that you know that is possible, that is definitely possible.

I don't want to hide, you know, like you're asking for you're asking for someone in your life to be honest and to be loyal and to be your ride or die and and so that's what I'm trying to do, right And because I could have easily not said anything and just known and just known what I know. But on top of it all, it's not even like private it's like public information, right right, you know, like just google yourself and be surprised at what you find.

There's a couple of red flags there. But I mean, you know, I mean, he's not not any fella. He's not. Right, He's not a He's not one of them. He's just a human being that don't know to pay his stuff. You know what I'm saying. But I don't I'm not going to pry too much. But I'm thinking you found something you didn't like.

And I'm like, what, like, like, I respect it, I understand it. But at the same time, you're telling me I didn't give you a chance, but you didn't give me one either. Right, yeah, yeah, Because you know, if somebody says to me, well, look, I ran a background check on you, the first thing I'm going to say is I hope you did not see the file on the bodies they found in the park.

And I told him, I was like, hey, I'll be uh, you know, ask me what you want, I'll provide you my record. I'll provide you what you need because again I'm trying to establish trust and transparency. So it's like, just ask you want a copy of you know whatever. Okay, I don't dish it if I can't take it. You know, Look, no one wants to relive their mistakes. But but but believe.

I mean I've talked about like different situations on here and how people go this extra mile to create these fake lives, like they just be doing too much for something that they're not getting anyway. So it's like, dude, you don't have to put up this fake life for me. You still ain't getting none like just because you try to, you know, inform me or try to lull me into this positive thing doesn't mean you're getting anything. So yeah, so I mean it's like, why create.

You don't want any of that ship not in your life, you know, I mean, I I feel I feel like you know, running running running background checks is a normal thing these days too, you know what I'm saying. I mean, you could, ladies, she said, she done ran that ship on all of us.

44:52 Like what's going on? I've I've had a crazy month and worked a lot of extra hour and dealt with some bs. Uh, But I am good. My birthday's coming, so I'm really happy and excited. I'm off Friday to Monday. I'm I'm just gonna eat whatever I want, wherever I want. Okay, Oh that's my plan. That and it sounds like a good plan. I'm good. I'm basically gonna try and take advantage of whatever free shit I can get this weekend, Like if they're giving me something, I'm going to get it. So I'll have a checklist and maybe I'll keep tabs on the Facebook and be like here we go. I did this, but there is a bunch of stuff. So I'm like, yeah, I need to get my free shit and just chill. Basically, all right, sounds good. Yeah, I'm too old for anything else these days.

My mid my mid back is a a not back there. Check this shit out. I went to go for a fucking MRI, right yeah, And I told them specifically I need an open air MRI. I'm a bigger dude, you know what I'm saying. Right, And I get there, no open MRI, and the nerve of these people try to squeeze me into that fucking machine.

46:43 The worst, It's the worst. I was like, what are you doing? She was like, raise your arm, raise your other arm above your head, and they're trying to squeeze me into this machine. I'm like, yo, I'm not going into the fucking machine and stop it. Already I'm like, no, it's not going to happen. So now I gotta, I gotta, I gotta call this place in in in Clifton. They haven't opened them right over there, and I gotta make an appointment, and I gotta do all this other ship and everything. So I gotta get that that that not worked out in my back, yo, because it's it hurts. They got me on the proxy and and uh flexio flexo something like that.
